The Monitor can now be fitted with an optional Watt & Sea Hydrogenerator mounting system. The mounting system can be ordered with a new Monitor and is backwards compatible with Monitor's that came with a strut guard (strut guards were introduced in Oct. 1991). The Watt & Sea mounting system attaches securely to the Monitor's frame with brackets and places the Watt & Sea unit aft of the Monitor's water paddle. Like the Monitor, the mount and hardware is made of 316L U.S. made stainless steel for corrosion resistance. The Watt & Sea's paddle can be easily raised and lowered when Monitor sailing or motoring.
