Passport 40

The Passport 40 is a popular boat, and at least 26 Monitors have been installed on them, from 1987 through 2004. Our photos show several mounting variations used over the years. We also have photos of one Saye's Rig installation.

Passport 40
Saye'sRig
"Wildflower" - home port unknown. We have no record of a Saye's Rig being sold to a Passport 40, and it is NOT a recommended windvane for this boat. The Passport 40's rudder is close to the transom; the tiller bar for the Saye's Rig is therefore too short to develop enough leverage for all sailing conditions.
