"Ancient Mariner" - Juneau, Alaska. A pre-1992 Monitor, without strut guard. Note how the mounting tubes can straddle the outboard rudder, and how stiffening diagonals can be added. This mount is strong enough to stand on, or to use as emergency boarding if you go overboard.
