"Feisty Lady" - Honolulu, Hawaii. Note the bend in the safety tube - owner reported he had hit something; the safety tube absorbed the impact instead of the gear train. The safety tube should now be replaced. It's a simple job - remove the pivot pin, bring the entire paddle/hinge assemby inboard, and replace the tube while working in the cockpit.
