Bristol Channel Cutter 28

A popular, sturdy Lyle Hess-designed boat. At least 32 Monitors have been sold to Bristol Channel 28 owners. The photos span over 27 years worth of installations. Some show older Monitors (recognizable by the absence of a strut guard, running between the lower legs of the Monitor. The strut guard was added to the frame in 1991 to act as a 'bumper', protecting the pendulum shaft from a hit from behind - you know how some power-boaters are.....
